1. Introduction
At SRI LANKA TOUR BOOKING, we value your trust and aim to provide a smooth and transparent booking experience.
This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, modifications, and refunds are handled for our tours, transfers, and tailor-made travel services.
By confirming a booking with us, you agree to the terms set forth below.
2. Cancellation by the Traveler
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing via email at info@srilankatourbooking.com as soon as possible.
Refunds will be issued according to the following schedule:

| More than 30 days before tour start | 100% refund (minus any bank or transaction fees) |
| 15 – 30 days before tour start | 50% refund of total booking value |
| Less than 15 days before tour start | No refund |
| No-show / same-day cancellation | No refund |
Notes:
- All refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
- Transaction, bank, or credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds may take 7–14 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
3. Cancellation by SRI LANKA TOUR BOOKING
We may cancel or reschedule a booking in unavoidable circumstances such as:
- Natural disasters, extreme weather, or health emergencies
- Political instability, strikes, or transportation issues
- Insufficient participants for a group tour
- Supplier or accommodation unavailability
If we cancel your booking, you will be entitled to:
- A full refund of all payments made, or
- The option to reschedule or transfer your payment to another tour of equal value
We will not be liable for additional expenses you may have incurred (such as flights, visas, or accommodation booked independently).
4. Modifications & Rescheduling
If you wish to modify your booking (e.g., change travel dates or itinerary):
- Requests made more than 15 days before the tour start are accepted without penalty, subject to availability.
- Changes requested within 15 days of departure may incur additional charges from hotels or service providers.
We will always do our best to accommodate reasonable change requests.
5. No-Show Policy
If a traveler fails to join the tour or arrives late without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show.
No refunds or credits will be issued in such cases.
6. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure—such as natural disasters, war, government restrictions, or other events beyond our control—refunds may not be possible.
However, we will make every effort to:
- Reschedule your tour, or
- Offer travel credit for future use within 12 months of the original booking date.
7. Refund Process
To request a refund, please email info@srilankatourbooking.com with:
- Your booking reference number
- Full name and contact details
- Reason for cancellation
Once verified, we will process the refund in accordance with this policy.
8. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers:
- Trip cancellation or interruption
- Medical emergencies
- Lost baggage or personal belongings
This helps protect you against unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
